Ishpeming Main Street presents the Torch Light Trek Youth Ski Event on Thursday, January 25 from 6 to 7 p.m. Torch light skiing will start on the trail on Main Street and go to Canda Street. Wilderness Sports will be providing free youth ski rentals. Call ahead or stop by that day to reserve your skis.There will be a bonfire on Main Street with hot dogs and drinks to be provided. Early registration will be only $3 until January 22nd. Registration forms are available at local schools, City Hall or any of the shops in Downtown Ishpeming. You can also register the day of the event for $5. The first 150 kids to register will receive a free t-shirt.
