New Marquette Symphony Orchestra Summer Strings Group to Perform June 27

Marquette, MI – The Marquette Symphony Orchestra’s brand new Summer Strings group will be performing Wednesday, June 27 as part of City of Marquette Art Week.

The free, family-friendly performance begins at 7:00 p.m. at the Marquette Commons. There will be some seating provided.

Bring your family and friends to the commons for a live, wide-ranging performance by 15 members of the Marquette Symphony Orchestra. The group will be playing classical favorites, classic rock hits, some jazz, fiddle tunes and a feature with Derrell Syria.

The MSO Summer Strings group will also be performing on Wednesday, July 18 at Ore Dock Brewing Company at 7:00 p.m., with a special opening performance by the Superior String Alliance Chamber Players Summer Tour at 6:30 p.m. Admission is free, and donations are encouraged.
