The Marquette Regional History Center presents: The Docks of Iron Bay Walking Tour – July 11

Marquette, MI – Ore docks, coal docks, freight docks – all crowded the lower harbor over the years.  Find out how the harbor’s changed over the years, learn about what’s left, and discover a few secrets (some hidden in plain sight) about how the docks and the rail lines leading to them shaped downtown Marquette.  Jim Koski, radio personality and history enthusiast, will be the tour guide.  Prepare for a stroll from the History Center, to the Boardwalk, then down to Lower Harbor Park and back.  $5 suggested donation.
