Elementary school age children and their parents are invited to the “Celebration of Light” on Sunday, December 3 from 1 to 3 p.m. in the Peter White Public LIbrary Community Room. Drop in to make crafts in celebration of many world holidays that celebrate light: Hanukkah; Kwanza; Diwali; Loy Krathong; Mexican, Swedish and American Christmas and Brazilian and Chinese New Year. The event is sponsored by the library's Teen Advisory Board and coincides with the library's Holiday Open House.
