The Central Upper Peninsula Chapter of the American Red Cross is offering a Babysitter's Training Course over two evenings, Monday, November 20 and Tuesday, November 21 at the Red Cross office, 424 North Fourth Street in Marquette. Both evenings will be from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Both sessions must be attended to earn certification. This course gives 11 to 15 year olds the knowledge, skills and confidence to care for infants and school age children. The cost of the course is $36 which includes textbook, certificate and a babysitter's training first aid and safety kit.
