The Moosewood Nature Center will sponsor a Spring Ephemeral Wildflowers Adventure on Saturday, May 19 from 1 to 4 p.m. Every spring a glorious spectacle takes place in the northern hardwood forests of Upper Michigan. For only a few short weeks, the forest floor becomes covered in a wonderful variety of wildflowers! Come and discover this spectacular phenomenon with MooseWood Nature Center. Meet at Moosewood Nature Center and carpool to the selected location. The cost is $5 for non-members/$10 for families, and free for Moosewood members. For more information, call 228-6250.
