The U.P. Memorial Service for National Police Week (May 13-19) will be held at the high school in Gwinn at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 15. Some citizens are choosing to fly flags at half-staff and to fly blue ribbons. Prior to the service, patrol vehicles will assemble at the Berry Events Center parking lot at 10:30 a.m. The Processional will travel south on Third Street to Washington Street, west on Washington Street to McClellan, proceed south on McClellan/M553 to Southgate Drive. The Processional will then travel west to M-35, turn west on M-35 to the Gwinn High School, arriving at 11:15 a.m.The Memorial Service will follow.
