A coalition of Northern Michigan University student organizations invite you to join regional water luminaries, local legends, world-class Michigan musicians and students from Northern and all over the state for a weekend of music, food, community, panels, workshops, a marshland parade, dances, and celebration to protect our water locally and address global challenges at the Superior Water Festival on Friday, April 3 through Sunday, April 5 on the NMU Campus.
Cost is free to NMU students and $5 for the weekend for non-students.
Friday's activities will include guided hikes throughout the day and a concert in the evening with local favorites Mike Waite and Grassmonkey.
Saturday on-campus festivities will begin at 10 a.m. and will continue until 5 p.m., followed by an evening potluck, film showing by Jeff Gibbs and concert by Seth Bernard, Daisy May and friends. Sunday's activities will take place on campus from 10 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
There will be many family oriented activities, including music, workshops, films and presentations, all relating to water.
