Earth Keepers Clean Sweep 2007, collecting outdated human and pet medicines to prevent them from getting into our water, will take place on Saturday, April 21 from 9 a.m. to 12 noon with collection sites in Marquette at Messiah Lutheran, 305 W. Magnetic, Grace United Methodist, 927 W. Fair, and St. Peter Cathedral, 311 W. Baraga. If possible, bring expired or unused prescriptions and over the counter medications in their original containers. Unused and unneeded pharmaceuticals will be disposed of safely and responsibly, mostly incinerated.
