The Marquette County Sheriff's Department will offer boater safety classes on the following Saturdays: April 21 at Negaunee High School, May 5 at Westwood High School and June 13 at Negaunee High School. Classes run from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and are free of charge. Participants must be at least 12 years old. Bring a pencil and a sack lunch. Call the Ishpeming-Negaunee-NICE Community Schools at 475-4173.
