Marquette – Messiah and St. Mark's Churches Faith Active in Love Lenten series will end with a special noon worship service and luncheon on Wednesday, April 1 at Messiah Lutheran Church in Marquette.
The luncheon will take place in Messiah's Magnuson Hall on West Magnetic Street in Marquette.
After the meal, Messiah members, Helen Koski and Darlene Dreisbach, will share experiences lifting up the poor, especially through the Room at the Inn homeless shelter.
There will be a family evening meal 5:30 p.m. and a worship service at 7 p.m. A group of community members, who recently traveled to Columbia, will offer insights about how having active faith lives have given them experiences in global companionship.
