A Sugarbush Management and Maple Syrup program will be offered at the Ford Center in Alberta on March 31 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Whether you have one maple tree or thousands, this program is developed for landowners who want to learn how to start a small-scale maple syrup production. Fees for the workshop are $15 for the general public and $5 for students. Pancakes and fresh syrup will be provided. Space is limited. Register by calling 542-6181. The Ford Center is located on US 41, 8 miles south of L'Anse.
