Marquette, Mi.– NAMI- Alger/Marquette will offer a confidential support group and educational meeting at the Baraga Place Conference Room this Monday, April 30 at 7:00 p.m.
These groups are for individuals living with mental illness, and friends or families living with an individual with mental illness.
Cheryl Hill, Probate Judge, 25th Circuit Court, Family Division will be the special guest. Judge Hill will provide an overview of mental health and the courts. Mental illness plays a major role in many of the cases Judge Hill hears, and the number of these cases is increasing.
