Marquette, Mi.– The Marquette Choral Society’s Spring Concert will take place at the NMU Reynolds Recital Hall this Saturday and Sunday, April 28 & 29.
- April 28 (Saturday)- 7:30 p.m.
- April 29 (Sunday)- 3:00 p.m.
They will perform a newly commissioned work by local composer, Griffin Candey, with texts by Walt Whitman, Anastasia Pennington-Flax and local area poet, Kathleen M. Heideman. “The Night Psalms” will premiere alongside Ralph Vaughan Williams epic major work “Dona Nobis Pacem,” also on texts by Walt Whitman.
