Michigan State University Extension will offer free training to childcare providers on “The ABC's of Early Literacy” on March 6 from 6 to 9 p.m. in the Peter White Room of the Peter White Public Library. The training will focus on how literacy skills develop, how to make learning fun and meaningful, how to meet the state's 30 minute requirement in fun, inexpensive ways, and how to include literacy throughout the day.
