The U.P. State Fair in Escanaba will feature Ladies Day on Thursday, August 16. Gates open at 8 a.m. A special ladies day program will begin in the Activites Tent at 10 a.m. Barns and Buildings will be open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Exhibition Building hours are 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Fox 103 WFXD is the official radio station to welcome Joe Nichols and Rodney Atkins to the Grandstand at 8 p.m.
