The Ore to Shore Bike race will be taking place on Saturday, August 11 and street closures to accommodate the safety of the bikers will occur. Wright Street from Presque Isle Avenue to Lakeshore Boulevard, Pine Street from Fair Avenue to Lakeshore Boulevard, and Powder Mill Road from County Road 550 to the east end will be closed from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. The public is advised to use caution when traveling on Hawley Street, River Park Circle and Schneider Mill Court. Racers will be crossing a designated locations at various times. Questions regarding the closures can be directed to Susan Brian at 235-2362.
