Marquette, Mi.– Marquette Area Public Schools will be holding a 2018-19 Kindergarten Registration Make-Up Day on Wednesday, April 25th, from 11:00 a.m.- 6:30 p.m. in the MAPS Superintendent’s Office, 1201 W. Fair Avenue.
Please bring child’s certified birth certificate, immunization record and proof of residency. Children do not need to be present to register. A kindergarten screening appointment for each child will be scheduled at this time. Kindergarten Screenings will be held the first week of May 2018.
Kindergarten is for children age 5 before September 1, 2018. If your child is ready for kindergarten and is 5 years old by December 1, 2018, you can still register for kindergarten provided you complete a waiver. Classes will be held five (5) full days per week.
Junior Kindergarten is for children age five (5) before December 1, 2018 (a waiver must be completed). Classes will be held five (5) days per week. District busing is provided.
