Church at the Island Worship Under the Trees! Several local congregations will hold an ecumenical worship service at the Bandshell at Presque Isle on Sunday, August 5. There will be coffee and music at 10 a.m., followed by worship with Eucharist/Holy Communion at 10:30. Rev Martha Murchison of First Presbyterian Church will preach. A combined choir directed by David Williams will rehearse at 9:30, and any singers are invited to participate. Music will be acoustic and anyone interested in playing should attend the 9:30 rehearsal. The offering is designated for Harbor House. The service is sponsored by First Presbyterian, Messiah, St Marks, and Prince of Peace Lutheran, First, Grace and Skandia United Methodist, and St Paul's Episcopal Churches.
