A hike(with some wading) and picnic will be held on Saturday, August 4 by Northern Vegans, starting at 2:30 p.m. at Sugarloaf Mountain parking lot, CR 550 in Marquette. Pack your own vegan (no animal products), brown bag meal and beverage. Remember insect repellant and sunscreen. Optional plans are to join the group at Wetmore landing at approximately 3:15 p.m. or join the group at Little Presque Isle beach at 4 p.m. For more information, call 236-1279.
