The 2.25 mile “Swim Teal Lake for Diabetes” will be held on Saturday, July 28 starting with a briefing at 8:45 a.m. for all swimmers and volunteer kayak and canoe paddlers at the Negaunee Beach. Participants will swim or paddle to the Al Quaal beach. This is a fundraiser for Diabetes Kids Camp. Anyone interested in providing canoe or kayak support for “Swim Teal Lake” should call 228-9203.
