The Michigan Tech Archives and Copper Country Historical Collections opens an exhibit of historical photographs on Monday, July 16 at 7 p.m. in the Archives Reading Room, Garden Level of the J.R. Van Pelt Library at MTU in Houghton. “Scrounging for Food: Copper Country Foodways during the Great Depression” will be presentedby Erik Nordberg. The exhibit will remain up through Labor Day and is part of the MSU and Smithsonian “Michigan Foodways” and “Key Ingredients” exhibits. For more information, call 487-2505.
