The Michigamme-Spurr 4th of July celebration will start with a boat parade on Tuesday, July 3 at 7 p.m. at the Michigamme Park. The concession stand will be open from 5 to 10 p.m. There will be fireworks at dusk at the park. Live music will be provided by the Slamtones from 8 p.m. to midnight. A parade will begin on Wednesday, July 4 at 11 a.m. There will be food and kids' games at the park following the parade. Prizes for parade entries are $50, $75 and $100.
