A summer tradition returns for the 15th year for tourists and Marquette County residents with tours being offered of a working iron ore mine and processing plant. Cleveland Cliffs will open its mining and processing operations to visitors beginning June 27. Guided tours will begin on Wednesday, June 27 and run through late August. One tour per day will be offered Tuesday through Saturday each week and last about 3 hours. Tours will depart in Marquette at noon from the LSCP office at 501 S. Front Street and from the National Ski Hall of Fame in Ishpeming at 12:30 p.m. Tickets are $10.
