We’re looking for a state worker for the DNR Pocket Park in Escanaba.
Escanaba, Mich.– 03/23/2018- Duties will include grounds and facilities maintenance; opening the Pocket Park to the public during scheduled time periods; maintaining fishing, archery, and pellet guns and providing that equipment to qualified park visitors; Pocket Park communications and customer service.
Applicants must possess a high school diploma and be willing to work a variety of shifts (including weekends and holidays). Experience in grounds and facility maintenance and outdoor recreation preferred. The seasonal position pays $9.35 an hour and runs from April 10 through Sept. 29 (1,040 hours). The job can earn a successful applicant college internship credit.
