Come and explore the rocks and minerals of Presque Isle on Friday, June 8 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Presque Isle had a very violent geologic past and the evidence of this is left in the rocks. Meet at the MooseWood Nature Center. At the end of the program you will have the opportunity to comb the beaches in search of agates, hematite and other mineral. The cost is free to Moosewood members and $5.00 for not-yet-members/$10 per family for not-yet-members. For more information, call 228-6250.
