The Northern Center for Lifelong Learning will present a class on veterans' issues and a tour of the Jacobetti Home for Veterans on Tuesday, November 13 from 7 to 9 p.m. The event is being held in November to coincide with Veterans Month. Administrator Bradford Slagle, VFW service officer Pat Holcomb, and American Legion service officer Rick Stewart will speak about the role and functions of the Jacobetti facility and the ongoing and current issues facing veterans of all ages. A question and answer time will be provided as well as a tour. The cost for the event is $4 for NCLL members and $7 for nonmembers. Participants will meet at the Jacobetti Home for Veterans and are asked to use the chapel entrance on Fisher Street. Please register by Friday, November 9 by calling Paula McCormick at 228-5489.
