Join the Peter White Public Library's Reader's Theater for an fun evening of reading play scripts on Monday, November 5 at 7 p.m. in the Shiras Room. This month's reading will highlight three short plays and excerpts by local playwrights: “A Thanksgiving Homecoming” by Kirk Vestal, “The Long Labor of Seamus Murphy's Wife” by Russell Thorburn, and “A Modern Day Mummer's Play” by Jim Edwards. The Reader's Theater is open to any adult who is interested in drama and has a willingness and ability to read a scripted role. No memorization, costumes, sets, lighting, or theatrical experience required. The event is free and open to the public.
