Presentation of songs by the Teal Lake Drum will be at 6:30 p.m. Monday, November 5 in Jamrich Hall Room 102. This is a celebration of the season, harvest and the people singing, who range in age from 5 to adult. Dancers from NMU and the community will present Native American dance. The film “The Broken Chain” will be shown at 7:30 p.m. in Jamrich Hall 102. The movie tells the true story Mohawk war chief Joseph Brant. The events are part of the celebration of Native American Heritage Month at NMU.
