A HomeTown Competitiveness Workshop will be held on Thursday, October 18 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the University Center on the campus of NMU. The workshop will offer a come-back/give-back aproach to Rural Community Building. This workshop focuses on four key “pillars” for local community and economic development: Capture Wealth Transfer/Mobilize Local Leaders/Engage and Attract Young People/Energize Entrepreneurs.
