HIV/AIDS Prevention Specialist to Speak March 16

Marquette – Trudie Jackson, an award winning HIV/AIDS prevention specialist and transgender Native American woman, will speak on Monday, March 16 at 7 p.m. in Jamrich Hall 103 at Northern Michigan University.

Jackson will discuss her growth as a Native American transgender woman and how to effectively provide health services to traditionally underserved populations. The lecture will conclude with a question and answer period and an opportunity to network with health professionals and health students.
