The U.P. Children’s Museum in Marquette will conduct an Explainers training session from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, October 5 at the museum. Pizza will be served. A parent or caregiver must be present from 7:30 to 8 p.m. Explainers are youth volunteers ages 8 to 18 who learn about service and leadership through assisting in the museum. The Explainers work closely with museum staff, who serve as mentors. The Explainers program is free. Training sessions for new members are offered the first Friday of every month.
