“Slaughterhouse Five” Showing Sept. 27

The film “Slaughterhouse Five” will be shown at 7 p.m. on Thursday, September 27 at the Peter White Public Library in Marquette. Based on the Kurt Vonnegut novel, the film tells the story of Billy Pilgrim, a man who becomes unstuck in time after he is abducted by aliens. There will be a discussion period after the film. The film is being shown in conjunction with this year’s One Book, One Community selection, “Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close” by Jonathan Safran Foer.
