The Michigan Department Ladies Auxiliary VFW District 14 will meet Friday, September 14 through Sunday, September 16 at Martin J. Lassila Auxiliary 4573, 310 Bank Street, Ishpeming. Department President Sheryl Proteau will make an official visit. There will be a fish fry from 3 to 6 p.m. Friday at the post home. Registration will be from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, with a memorial service at 2 p.m. and an audit after the service. There will be a social hour from 6 to 7 p.m., with a banquet and program at 7 p.m. The banquet will cost $12.Registration will be from 8 to 9 a.m. Sunday, with floor practice at 9 a.m. and a district meeting with school of instruction, and a luncheon after the meeting. The luncheon will cost $3.50.
