The film, “The Winter War – We Were There,” sponsored by the Baraga County Historical Museum will be shown on Thursday, September 13 at 6 p.m. in the L'Anse Area Schools Cafetorium with a discussion following at 7:30 p.m. Johannes and Hilkka Juntunen will share their vivid memories of when they were children in Suomussalmi when the 105-day Winter War broke out between Finland and Russia.
