The Citizens for Peace and Justice, a Marquette County community activist group, is sponsoring an organizational meeting for a Marquette Area Public Schools MAPS Teachers Community Support Group. The group's primary objective will be to provide aid and support to MAPS teachers in their struggle to achieve a fair contract with the MAPS School Board. The meeting will be held on Monday, January 14 at 7 p.m. in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library. The time has come for the community to rally in support of it's excellent teachers.
