A benefit dinner for Annette Nolde will be held at the Elks Lodge 354, at 510 Ludington Street in Escanaba on Saturday, January 12 from 3 p.m. to midnight. A ham and turkey dinner with all the trimmings will be served from 3 to 8 p.m. Take-outs will be available. A silent auction and 50/50 raffle will be held throughout the evening. Live music will be provided by Pink Zink from 9 p.m. to midnight. Cost is $10 for adults, $5 for children 6 to 12, and free for children 5 and under. Donations may be made at Peninsula Federal Credit Union under the “Annette Nolde Benefit” account. Annette was diagnosed with lung cancer in August and is currently undergoing extensive chemotherapy and radiation. Proceeds from the benefit will help with medical and travel expenses.
