The U.P. Chapter of the Compassionate Friends will meet on Wednesday, January 9 at 7 p.m. at Redeemer Lutheran Church on Fair Avenue in Marquette. There will be a video and discussion: “Turning Toward the Morning” – a powerful video which includes stories of parents who have lost a child to illness, accidental death and suicide. The mission of The Compassionate Friends is to assist families toward the positive resolution of grief following the death of a child of any age and to provide information to help others be supportive.
