A free Countdown to Kindergarten program will be offered on Tuesday, January 8 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at K.I. Sawyer Elementary School, 411 Scorpion Street at Sawyer. The program is designed to orient children to their school environment in the year preceding kindergarten, and is open to children who will be 5 on or before December 1, 2008 and live in the Gwinn Area Community School District.
