The Grand Opening of the new Tube Slide in the Al Quaal Recreation Area in Ishpeming will be held on Saturday, December 22 from noon to 5 p.m. The slide will be open daily from noon to 5 p.m. throughout the Christmas holidays and every weekend until the end of March. There is a new rope tow for the slide. Tubes are provided. Daily passes are $7. For more information, contact Dan Mitchell at 486-6853.
