Marquette – The Peter White Public Library Teen Writing Contest will take place Thursday, February 1 through Thursday, March 15. The Library will host a high school writing competition with support from Dr. Allyn Roberts and the Marquette Monthly.
Students in grades 9 to 12 who reside in the Peter White Public Library service area, or have a non-resident card at PWPL, are invited to enter an original poem, flash fiction work, or nonfiction memoir. First, second, and third place cash prizes will be awarded in each of the three categories, to be presented at a reception on Wednesday, April 25.
