Dr. Brian Folz, a physician who specializes in the use of flow cytometry in diagnosing leukemia and lymphoma, will present a seminar on Thursday, December 6 from 4 to 6 p.m. in Mead Auditorium in the West Science Building on the campus of NMU. The seminar is free and open to the public. Folz is a board-certified physician of anatomic and clinical pathology at Marquette General Hospital. Flow cytometry uses a laser to gather data on white blood cells.
