The Northern Center for Lifelong Learning will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the completion of the Mackinac Bridge with a short history and a DVD production on Tuesday, November 20 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in Room 101-B of the Superior Dome at NMU. Fred Huffman will present a short overview of the history of the bridge. After the lesson, participants will view a 26-minute DVD titled “The Making of the Mackinac Bridge,” then participate in a question-and-answer session. Cost is $4 for NCLL members, $7 for others.
