Jean-Jacques Decoster, a professor at the Universidad Nacional San Antonio Abad del Cusco in Peru and native of France, will speak at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, November 14 in the Whitman Hall Commons. Light refreshments will be served. Decoster will address “The Language of Conquest: Orality to the Imposition of the Written Word.” The program is co-sponsored by the NMU provost and international programs.
