Calendar – Education – “Know the Facts. Save lives.” Human Trafficking Awareness Presentation in Escanaba – Jan. 23

Escanaba – The recently re-established Upper Peninsula Human Trafficking Task Force, together with the Department of Justice and Michigan State Police will offer a “Know the Facts. Save Lives.” Human Trafficking Presentation on Tuesday, January 23 at 7 p.m. in the Besse Theater on the Bay College Campus in Escanaba.

Featured speakers include, Leslie Hagen from the Department of Justice, SA Todd Wilton ICE/HIS, and local MSP Community Troopers, Elisabeth Alquist, Iron Mountain Police Department Victim Advocate, Cheryl O’Neil Executive Director Caring House INC, and Stephanie Krieger s7Consulting.

There will be time for Q & A after each presentation and a brief invite to any participants to join the UPHTTF by the current Task Force Group Leader/Administrator Marlene Mottes Victim Advocate from the Department of Justice, United States Attorney’s Office, Western District of Michigan Marquette Office.
