Calumet – The Copper Country Curling Club will be hosting Open Houses on Wednesday, January 3 from 6 to 9 p.m. and on Saturday, January 6 from noon to 3 p.m. at the Curling Club behind the Calumet Colosseum in Calumet.
The public is invited to stop by and check out the Curling Club, watch some curling action and/or try a few curling shots. There is no cost. If you want to try curling, the Club suggests you bring a pair of gym shoes to wear on the ice.
The Learn To Curl program begins on Wednesday, January 10. The program is for people with no curling experience who want to learn how to play. Certified curling instructors run the program which takes place every Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m.
