Artist Lecture March 4

Hancock – Helen R. Klebesadel, professor and visual artist from Madison, Wisconsin, will offer a free community lecture on Art and Activism on Wednesday, March 4 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Finlandia University Finnish American Heritage Center in Hancock.

Klabesadel will discuss the place in which art and activism come together, especially in regards to women's issues.

An exhibit of Klebesadel's works will be on display from March 6 through April 1 at the Vertin Gallery in Calumet.
