Marquette – The Northern Michigan University Student Law Forum will host the presentation “Search and Seizure” on Wednesday, December 6 at 7 p.m. at the Ore Dock Brewing Company in downtown Marquette.
Attorney experts Karl Numinen and Phillip Toutant will address Fourth Amendment search issues affecting individuals’ bodies, homes, vehicles and electronic devices. Admission to this Suds, Buds and Barristers event is free.
The NMU Student Law Forum fosters a sense of community for students seeking legal careers. It provides members with resources to successfully make it to law school. These include LSAT prep, law school tours, conferences, speakers and other activities. The Student Law Forum also discusses high-profile legal issues and other relevant topics.
