‘Wind River’ Screening at NMU – November 11th

Marquette, MI – Northern Michigan University’s Campus Cinema will present a screening of Wind River in partnership with the Center for Native American Studies. The film will begin at 6 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 11, in 1100 Jamrich Hall. Attendance is free for NMU students and $1 for the public.

In the film, a veteran tracker with the Fish and Wildlife Service helps to investigate the murder of a young Native American woman. The case is used as a means of redemption for an earlier act of irresponsibility, which ended in tragedy.

The film stars Jeremy Renner, Elizabeth Olsen, Julia Jones and more. Running 1 hour and 51 minutes, it is rated R.
