Children who plan to attend kindergarten/Young Fives in the NICE Community School District next fall must register during the week of March 31st, 2008 through April 3rd, 2008 at the Aspen Ridge Elementary School, 350 Aspen Ridge School Road, in Ishpeming. Registration will take place in the Family Resource Room between the hours of 8:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. each day with the exception of Wednesday, April 2nd, where the hours will be extended from 8:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M.
Appointments will be made at that time for entrance testing which will take place at Hope Free Evangelical Lutheran Church, 795 North Lake Drive, Ishpeming, on Wednesday, April 16th, and Thursday, April 17th, 2008.
To be eligible for fall enrollment, children must be at least five years old before December 1st, 2008. Parents must bring a registered copy of the birth certificate and the child's immunization record when registering the child.
